  • Blanca Ramirez Gonzalez

    PRESIDENT

    CLASS OF 1977

    Blanca has spent five years as Vice President of the Association. As Vice President, she worked closely with President Irene Settele and attended each of our Board meetings with interest and suggestions for presenting her ideas for supporting the High School and the Graduates. She created the All New Huntington Park High School Facebook page. She was the appointed Chair of all Committees and oversaw multiple aspects of Social Media information and collections of Annual Picnic Raffle prizes. She has been a volunteer at the Picnic registration desk for several years and her sons served as the musical DJ entertainment on stage.

    Jeff comes to us with a wealth of background in leadership in education, Orange County city government and involvement in non-profit organizations. He brings desire to connect with the school and the ambitious graduating students through building a strong support system of grants and scholarship programs. He and our past-president Irene hope to join forces for the long-standing Spirit of Sparta Committee of Grants and Scholarships.

  • Jo Ann Toole Bramble

    SECRETARY

    CLASS OF 1966

    Jo Ann graduated Huntington Park high school in Winter of 1967. She attended Woodbury College and married John Bramble, who she has one adult son with and has been married to for 45 years. She worked as a legal secretary in Washington DC, Las Vegas, Colorado and California. She also worked as a real estate broker in Colorado. She enjoys bicycling and travel. Jo Ann traveled in Europe for one year in a VW van.

    CLASS OF 1966

    I attended HPHS for 4 years and during my time there, I was Co-Editor of the Spartan Shield and Director of Publications.  I was active in several clubs and a member of the Phoenix Honor Society.  After graduation I attended ELACC for a while until a family matter forced me to quit.  It took another 28 years before I completed my degree and became a Special Education teacher.  I was married (now widowed) for 31 years and have a daughter, also a teacher and a 14 year old grandson.
